The
Hudson Valley Writers' Center invites you to
a thank you party for
LINDA
ASHEAR
|
When Linda's mother, Sylvia Dweck, died, Linda wanted to do some meaningful things with her inheritance. How wonderful that the Writers' Center was on her list of worthy places! Linda had read her poetry and taken classes here and she knew that her mother, an artist and a writer, would have loved seeing its interior returned to its former glory. We hope that architect Joanne Tall and some of the craftspeople who accomplished the transformation will be on hand: Constance Silver of Preservar, Inc., who oversaw the cleaning of the walls and ceiling; Tom Clemmens of Clemco Construction and Restoration, who put in the new floor and the large bathroom cupboard and made many repairs; and Arlene Daigle of A.J. Decorative Painting who painted and lent scaffolding. They all tried to make the most of Linda's gift. Please come meet this warm, humorous, and generous donor, and help let her know how very grateful we all are. |
