Linda Ashear Thank You Party

On Sunday, February 9, 2003, we gathered at the Writers' Center to thank Linda Ashear, whose generosity made possible some enormous changes to our station over the past year. HVWC board members and staff were joined by Linda's family and friends as well as by some of the dedicated professionals and craftspeople who accomplished the transformation, which included the cleaning and restoring of the American Chestnut walls and ceiling, installation of a beautiful new wood floor, and the addition of bathroom fixtures that improve accessibility by wheelchair users and other people with disabilities.
