The Hudson Valley Writers' Center presents
BOOK GROUPS:
Getting Them Going, Making Them Work

Thursday, June 17th, 2004, 7:30 pm

Lay the groundwork now for a stimulating new year of reading with others. How do you get a good book group started? Who chooses the books? Who leads the discussions? What should you demand of one another? How do you measure success? Get these and other questions answered by four professionals who have good and bad tales to share and lots of tips. Panelists include Jane Clark (Ossining Library), Gerry Mahoney (Briarcliff Manor Library), Robert Mannion (Warner Library, Tarrytown), and Rosalie Rogers, a trainer in the Great Books approach.

Already have a good group going? Come and share your tips and learn ways to make your group even better.
