Help us celebrate the publication this fall of his fourth book, Selling Ben Cheever: Back to Square One in a Service Economy, a dark and funny account of the author's attempt to understand what it must be like to be downsized and to have to start completely over — to have only yourself to sell. Ben Cheever has been a reporter, an editor at Reader's Digest, has published three novels, and edited The Letters of John Cheever. In researching his latest book, he worked a variety of jobs, from security guard and sandwich maker to a used car salesman.
