Fueled by a fiery rhythm section and high-octane horns, Sońando plays a wide variety of Latin styles from Plena and Son to Salsa and Merengue! www.sonando.net

As an added attraction this year, we expect a cameo appearance by nationally-renowned storyteller, David Gonzalez, a resident of Rockland County, who will share a story. www.davidgonzalez.com

This event outgrew the Writers’ Center two years ago and overflowed Warner Library last year, so we’ve now moved it to The John Paulding School at 154 North Broadway in Tarrytown (see link to directions below). It will include stories, music, dancing, and traditional refreshments. A mix of English and Spanish will be spoken and we hope once again for a real mix of our total community—including children and teens! We are grateful to the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns for donating the use of the space.

This program is made possible, in part, by Westchester Arts Council Municipal Challenge Grant, in partnership with the Villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. Additional funding provided by the Rotary Club of the Tarrytowns and by Random House, Inc. Admission Free.
