See below for directions to our temporary workshop location at 57 River Street in Sleepy Hollow. FROM ROUTE 287 (HEADING WEST): Follow signs for Route 87N and the Tappan Zee Bridge. Take Exit 9 for Route 9 Tarrytown (last exit before bridge - note that it is after Exit 1); turn left at traffic light. At the intersection of Route 9 (Broadway), turn right and proceed north for 1.9 miles through Tarrytown and into Sleepy Hollow. Immediately after passing Philipsburg Manor Historical Site on left, turn left at traffic light onto Pierson Ave. (toward Kingsland Point Park and the river). Turn right at stop sign (Bellwood Ave.) and go 3 blocks. Turn left at stop sign onto Palmer Ave. and go 2 blocks, following the curve to the right. The Writers’ Center is the Philipse Manor Railroad Station building on your left. Local Map FROM ROUTE 287 (HEADING EAST): Cross Tappan Zee Bridge and take the first exit to Tarrytown. At traffic light, turn right onto Route 9 (Broadway) and follow directions starting from proceed north, as above. FROM THE NORTH: South on Route 9 (Broadway), past Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow. Right turn onto Bellwood Ave. (opposite Sleepy Hollow cemetery), into the Philipse Manor residential area. At first stop sign, make right onto Harwood Ave. Continue to end and turn left onto Riverside Drive. Keep to the right of the Do Not Enter sign - the Writers' Center is the Philipse Manor Railroad Station ahead on your right. Local Map FROM NEW YORK CITY AND POINTS SOUTH: Take the Saw Mill River Parkway North to Route 119 West, Tarrytown. Turn right onto Route 119 and proceed west to Route 9 (Broadway). Turn right onto Route 9 and follow directions from proceed north, as above. METRO-NORTH RAILROAD: From Grand Central Station, take the Hudson Line local to the Philipse Manor Station (the stop immediately north of Tarrytown). | 57 RIVER STREET, our temporary daytime workshop location at the Ichabod's Landing condominiums in the village of Sleepy Hollow, can be reached by taking Beekman Avenue west from Route 9 toward the Hudson River. Where Beekman curves to the left (opposite the former GM site) it becomes River Street. Ichabod's Landing begins at that curve. #57 is the first storefront to the left of the driveway. THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF WESTCHESTER-ON-HUDSON is located at 35 South Broadway (Route 9) in Tarrytown, one block south of Main Street, at the northwest corner of West Elizabeth Street. THE MASTERS SCHOOL is located at 49 Clinton Avenue, Dobbs Ferry, NY. Events are held in the Claudia Boettcher Theatre on the campus. Take Route 9 to Clinton Avenue in Dobbs Ferry; go southeast on Clinton, past two campus houses to main entrance of school; turn left at stone marker. The campus is located about one mile from the Dobbs Ferry railroad station on Metro-North's Hudson River Line. Cab service is available. WARNER LIBRARY is located at 121 North Broadway (Route 9), Tarrytown, New York, approximately 1.5 miles north of the Tappan Zee Bridge. SUNNYSIDE is located in Tarrytown, New York, one mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge on Route 9 (turn west on West Sunnyside Lane). THE GOTTESMAN ROOM is located in the Campus Center at PACE UNIVERSITY's Pleasantville Campus, 861 Bedford Road.
