Book Tour Kick-Off!

George & Martha by Karen FinleyWe end the month with the kick-off of Karen Finley’s international book tour for her new novella, George & Martha (Verso, 2006) which she both wrote and illustrated. It grew out of a play about an imaginary affair between George W. Bush and Martha Stewart (at an early point titled Bush: The Musical) that she wrote and co-produced with P. S. 122 in fall 2004 at the Collective Unconscious in Manhattan.
