Master storyteller David Gonzalez presents a high-energy and colorful mix of tales from the Caribbean, South America, Spain, and the Bronx. Meet the enchanting pre-Columbian Puerto Rican singer Milomaki, a young Chilean girl and her magical red snake, a Dominican family who face jealousy and violence over a golden fish, and more. Besides performing in hundreds of schools and outstanding venues including the Smithsonian, Lincoln Center, and The Royal National Theatre in London, David Gonzalez has hosted eight seasons of "New York Kids," an award-winning radio program for children on WNYC. |
