photo: Brooks Haxtonphoto: Elaine SextonBrooks Haxton has published five poetry collections including Uproar: Antiphonies to Psalms and Nakedness, Death, and the Number Zero, two long narrative poems, and translations of such geniuses as the Greek philosopher Heraclitus and the French poet Victor Hugo. He teaches writing at Syracuse University and Warren Wilson College and has won fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Foundation, the Ingram Merrill Foundation and others.

Elaine Sexton is the author of the collection, Sleuth, and has been published widely in literary journals including Poetry and American Poetry Review. She teaches poetry at Sarah Lawrence College and is the founding publisher of chapbookfinder.com, a site dedicated to making it easier to find and buy chapbooks.

 

All readings include a question & answer period and a reception with books by the author(s) for sale.
