With Joie Davidow, she has edited two anthologies of Latino literature: Las Christmas: Favorite Latino Authors Share their Holiday Memories and Las Mamis: Favorite Latino Authors Remember their Mothers. This annual event outgrew the Writers' Center four years ago and is now at John Paulding Elementary School at 154 North Broadway in Tarrytown (see link to directions below).

Esmeralda's sister, Delsa Santiago, will again prepare traditional foods, and they will be joined by their youngest brother, Ralph Martinez (called Ciro in Esmeralda's memoirs), who will help provide traditional music in the band led by Frankie Figueroa, aka "Mister Estilo."

We are grateful to the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns for the use of the space. The program is made possible, in part, by Westchester Arts Council Municipal Challenge Grant, funded by Peckham Industries, Inc., Verizon and FujiFilm, USA Inc., in partnership with the Villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. Additional funding provided by the Rotary Club of the Tarrytowns.
