Help us celebrate the publication of Reggie Marra's first volume of poems, Who Lives Better Than We Do? (From the Heart Press, 2001).

Reggie, the moderator of our monthly Open Mike Night, is a Master Teaching Artist with the Connecticut Commission on the Arts. He conducts poetry-writing workshops and residencies throughout Connecticut and New York, and offers Integral Journeys retreats and workshops which integrate council work, story, poetry, meditation, writing and dreams in support of human development. He is author of The Quality of Effort: Integrity in Sport and Life for Student-Athletes, Parents and Coaches, which emerged from his 13 years as a high school teacher and basketball coach at Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers.
