The Hudson Valley Writers’ Center and Historic Hudson Valley are proud to once again present what has become a much-loved Halloween tradition. Acclaimed actor and comedian Robert Klein will thrill us and chill us with a reading of some of his favorite scary stories at Sunnyside, the historic home of Washington Irving, at 7 pm on Sunday, October 21st. Refreshments and candlelight tours of Irving's cottage will be available from 5:45 to 6:45 pm. Advance tickets are recommended, as this event sells out quickly. Call (914) 631-8200, ext. 628, to reserve your seat. Admission is $20 for the general public, $15 for members of the Writers’ Center and Historic Hudson Valley. Please note that this program is recommended for ages 8 and up. Sunnyside is located in Tarrytown, New York, one mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge on Route 9 (turn west on West Sunnyside Lane). This event made possible in part by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Westchester Arts Council with funds from Westchester County Government, corporations and individuals and with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a State Agency. |
