The Hudson Valley Writers’ Center and Historic Hudson Valley are proud to present once again what has become a much-loved Halloween tradition. Acclaimed actor and comedian Robert Klein will thrill, chill, and amuse us with a reading of some of his favorite scary stories at Sunnyside, home of Washington Irving. Arrive early for refreshments and candlelight tours of Washington Irving’s historic cottage, 6 to 6:45 pm. Advance tickets are recommended, as this event sells out quickly. Call (914) 631-8200, ext. 618, to reserve your seat. Admission is $20 for the general public, $18 for members of the Writers’ Center and Historic Hudson Valley. Please note that this program is recommended for ages 8 and up. Sunnyside is located in Tarrytown, New York, one mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge on Route 9 (turn west on West Sunnyside Lane).
