The Hudson Valley Writers’ Center and Historic Hudson Valley are proud to present once again what has become a much-loved Halloween tradition. Acclaimed actor and comedian Robert Klein will thrill, chill, and amuse us with a reading of some of his favorite scary stories at Sunnyside, home of Washington Irving. Arrive early for refreshments and candlelight tours of Washington Irving’s historic cottage, 6 to 6:45 pm.

Advance tickets are recommended, as this event sells out quickly. Call (914) 631-8200, ext. 618, to reserve your seat. Admission is $20 for the general public, $18 for members of the Writers’ Center and Historic Hudson Valley.

Please note that this program is recommended for ages 8 and up.

Sunnyside is located in Tarrytown, New York, one mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge on Route 9 (turn west on West Sunnyside Lane).

HVWC literary presentations are made possible in part by a grant from the Bydale Foundation; the David G. Taft Foundation; the Orchard Foundation; and the Thendara Foundation; with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a State Agency; and by Westchester Arts Council with funds from Westchester County Government, corporations and individuals.
