Culinary Creations welcomes a reading of the Slapering
Hol Press Poetry Series featuring Cathy Appel Cathy Appel, LCSW, ADTR, MFA runs a Creative Arts Psychotherapy Program at a rehabilitation clinic in New York City and is co-editor of the American Journal of Dance Therapy. Her poems have appeared in numerous journals, such as Poetry East, New Letters, The Green Mountains Review, The New Virginia Review, The Poetry Miscellany, Peregrine, Prairie Schooner, Tendril and The Louisville Review. She lives in New York City. Holly Posner Holly Posner, author of Explorations in American Culture, has taught at the New School, Hunter College, and New York University. She received her MFA from Sarah Lawrence, and is currently a mentor for the Hadar Foundation, which sponsors scholarships for young people in the creative arts. She is the winner of the 2005 Greenburgh Poetry Competition; her work has appeared in Lumina, Rattapallax, The Laurel Review, Bellevue Literary Review and the anthology, Let The Poets Speak. She lives in Larchmont. Gary J. Whitehead Gary J. Whitehead's first full-length collection is The Velocity of Dust (Salmon Publishing / Dufour Editions, 2004). His third chapbook, After the Drowning, is due this summer from Finishing Line Press. His awards include a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry, a Princeton University Distinguished Secondary School Teaching Award, and the 2005 PEN Northwest Margery Davis Boyden Wilderness Writing Award.
