Voted BEST LATIN BAND by Hudson Valley Magazine, Soņando will have you bouncing and dancing to all types of music - Cuban son, merengue, salsa, Latin jazz, mambo, cumbia, reggae, and more! You just can't watch these eight musical "brothers" party on stage and sit still yourself! Soņando is playing from 2:30 - 4 pm on Saturday, June 2nd, as the grand finale of "Art in the Park" Children's Festival 2001, being held from 10-4 at Pierson Park in Tarrytown, New York. The raindate for the whole festival (including Soņando) is Sunday, June 3rd. "The name of the band is Spanish for "dreaming" but when the hordes come out for Soņando, they don't sleepwalk-they dance.
