Come join Joseph Perry, Esq. as he explains the basic building blocks of intellectual property law and first amendment law as they relate to writers. In this webinar, you will learn, among other things, what is a copyright (and what qualifies for registration); what is a trademark (and what authors need to be aware of when writing); what is fair use (and how to best protect authors); what is defamation and right of privacy (and the multiple considerations to heed); and the right of publicity (and the potential issues working with celebrities).
