Click the colored tabs below to show only specific options. Our workshops run as multi-session series or one-day “intensives.” Note, we list the multi-session courses on the first day they meet only. The full dates of the session are described in the course descriptions. You would need to scroll back to the start date if you needed to enroll for something already underway. Are you inspired to record the transforming events of your life? Are you drawn to explore the circumstances surrounding your most vivid memories? For those with a work-in-progress or those starting fresh, this class offers a supportive environment wherein each week you will read your writing aloud and receive constructive feedback from the instructor and the other students. Writing takes place during the week, not in class, where the focus is on sharing and critique. Writers at all levels of accomplishment, and with projects both full-length and short-form, are welcome.
This is a 7-week class meeting on Tuesdays 10:30am-12:45pm on 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27. (This class will be held in hybrid form. Participants have the option to join the instructor in person at HVWC or to log in to the group via Zoom.)
There will be 9 seats available at $397 apiece. Returning students to the memoir series will have preference to register first on Monday, December 11. Registration for any remaining open spots will begin on Thursday, December 14.
