Thank you for your interest in teaching at HVWC. The Program Committee is always interested in considering course proposals from published writers who are interested in teaching at the Center. Please send a cover letter, bio, title, and brief course description to Program Director Jennifer Franklin via email. Please let us know if you have experience teaching in the lower Hudson Valley and can attract your own students to study with you at HVWC.

Our teachers receive 50% of the tuition from each student (the Center receives the other 50%).

Please note, all our teachers help with marketing and publicity of their own classes.

Thank you for your interest in reading in our acclaimed series. We would love to consider your most recent or upcoming book. Please send a review copy or a PDF of the galleys to:

Please note, that at this time, we are not offering readings in the regular series to self-published writers. We do have two open mics each month, with a 15-minute featured artist at each one. For more information about being a featured artist at open mic, please send an email to ask@writerscenter.org and we will forward your request to Bill Buschel, host of Open Mic.
