Jim Tilley, Treasurer

Jim Tilley earned a doctorate in Physics from Harvard University in 1975. He worked as an actuary in the life insurance industry from 1975 to 1983 when he joined Morgan Stanley, where he was named a Managing Director in 1987. At Morgan Stanley, he headed Global Fixed Income Research before becoming Chief Information Officer for Institutional Securities in 1997. He retired in 2001, but continued to serve as an Advisory Director until 2007. Since retiring, Jim has published three collections of poetry through Red Hen Press and a short memoir as a Ploughshares e-solo. His first novel Against the Wind was published in 2019. He lives in Bedford with his wife Deborah Schneider.
