About the event
In this generative workshop, we’ll dive into the ancient landscape of whales and flying fish—from the moonlit crests of waves to the subconscious dark at the bottom of the ocean. Along the way, I’ll do my best to share foundational lessons I’ve learned from poets and thinkers over the past 40 years of study—with the hope that these approaches and insights might offer inroads into your own creative journey. In advance of the workshop, you’ll receive a packet of poems from a variety of authors in the field, and I only ask that you bring your favorite writing tools to the conversation—along with your own profound curiosity.
