All's Well That Ends Well: A Generative Fiction Workshop with Benjamin H. Cheever (In-Person at HVWC)

This generative fiction workshop will meet for 4 sessions, in-person at HVWC, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 10.

I've had a good deal of success as a writer, but also—and this is more important to you—I've learned a lot.  Whether you are splashing  around in a tempest of recollections, or—like me—you have a book written, but not quite finished, this class will bring us all to shore. The first and last pages are inevitably the best, and so the most fruitful pages to study. 

Alternating  between great openings and endings, we  will read our own efforts out loud and  also the work of masters.  The single rule:  There will be no criticism of the work of other students. We will  fan the flames of inspiration. We will never—not ever—dump water on the hearth.
