About the event
In her bold & striking poem "Rhapsody," Diane Seuss writes--"Don't be the savior. Be the stain." In this generative workshop, we will read poems by Diane Seuss, Sharon Olds & Louise Gluck that explore the psyche's dark waters & the strange landscapes of human thought, emotion & behavior. How might we develop & practice deep curiosity about ourselves & others in our own writing? What does it mean to interrogate one's own reflection, to turn toward mystery, to imagine & traverse the multiverse of self? You will come away from this workshop with up to 16 new poem drafts. We will spend the last 15 minutes sharing poems verbally with one another (optional).
