About the event
In this brief three-week workshop, participants will learn to write and revise the first paragraphs of their poems or the first three pages of their fiction or creative nonfiction. We will write and revise with a keen eye on detail, voice, first lines, tone, narrative drive and narrative rules of engagement. Students will receive a repository of take-home writing prompts at the conclusion of class and receive extensive feedback from the instructor. Ideal for beginning and advanced writers alike.
This course will meet on Zoom for 3-weeks on the following dates: August 13, 20, 27.
BIO
Radhika Sharma, longtime Creative Writing teacher, MFA, author and poet, is the author of Parikrama: a collection of short stories and Mangoes for Monkeys, a novel.
