Defining and Assembling Your Memoir with Susan Hodara (Zoom)

You’ve been writing memories and stories and chapters for a while, and now it’s time to take stock of what you’ve produced and decide how it all fits together. In this class, you will use your own writing as we work as a group on the following: creating an inventory of your pieces; understanding and describing why you are writing your memoir and what it is about; defining your narrative arc; deciding where to begin and how to structure your material into a book. Open to past and present Hodara Memoir Writing Workshop students only.

This is a 5-week class meeting on non-consecutive Mondays 3:00pm- 5:00pm on 10/5, 10/19, 11/2, 11/16, and 12/7. The Zoom link will be sent the first week of class and details will follow weekly.
