About the event
So you have a book coming out soon (or maybe it was recently published!) and feel at sea about how to spread the word. Maybe self-promotion makes you cringe. Maybe social media gives you the ick. But you still want to find your readership. This session is for you. Diane Goettel, Executive Editor of Black Lawrence Press, will discuss practical DIY marketing strategies that are manageable in scope, affordable, and effective. While this session is intended for those with books under contract or recently published, it will also provide valuable insight to authors interested in learning how to build community and create a platform.
