Fiction Manuscript Workshop with Josh Krigman (Zoom)

This is a 6-week course that will meet on Mondays on Zoom, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (ET), on November 16, 23, 30, December 7, 14, and 21.

In this six-week course, we’ll study different aspects of the craft of writing fiction, using both the work of published authors and our own projects. We’ll analyze one published short story and workshop two student submissions every class (except for our first session). Participants will give and receive thoughtful feedback and constructive criticism on each other’s work in a nurturing, safe space. Our focus will be on exploration, experimentation, and talking through our work with other writers, with the aim of helping you make your writing the best version of itself. Participants will leave with both a clearer sense of their craft and a keener eye for identifying how (and to what effect) other writers use these same tools.
