As Halloween approaches and the veil between the living and the dead thins, join poetry witch Annie Finch for an enchanting poetry workshop. Together we will cast a circle between the worlds to welcome the spirits of our ancestors. In this magical space, the ancient heartbeats of poetic craft will guide us to generate a series of poems channeling long-lost voices. Bring photos, mementoes, a journal, and an open heart.
Join Annie Finch for this 3-hour workshop (12:00-3:00 p.m.) and stay for her poetry reading and performance--3:30-4:30 p.m., in-person at HVWC!
The reading and performance is open to the public.
BIO
Annie Finch is a poet and a prosodist, critic, editor, translator, and performer of poetry.
