Monday Night Poetry Workshop: Writing Into the Risk and Dream with Chen Chen (Zoom)

This multi-week poetry workshop is an opportunity for you to build a community of writers, to experiment wildly, and to converse with true care about one another’s poems. The first session will be largely generative (with provided prompts) and we’ll spend some time getting to know each other both as writers and as people. The following five sessions will consist of dedicated workshop time for each participant’s writing (from the first session or any piece you’d like to share); by the end you’ll get at least four poems discussed along with written notes from everyone, including the instructor. And in the last week you will receive written feedback from the instructor on one additional poem of your choosing. In this class we will read with great appetite and delight.
