Solve a mystery...write a mystery: Be the detective in your very own mystery-solving adventure!
Crack the case and craft your own mystery story in MysteryCrafting 101—a hands‑on program where kids solve whodunits… and create their own! This captivating workshop blends problem‑solving, storytelling, and creativity as young writers learn the secrets of crafting suspenseful tales. With kid‑friendly visuals, detective challenges, easy to follow lessons and worksheets, this program brings the excitement of mystery writing to your young mystery-lovers!
This camp will run from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM in person at the Hudson Valley Writers Center. Students have the option to register for the full day, including Secret Zines: Interactive Books and Hidden Surprises from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Students who attend camp full-day will be expected to bring a lunch.
