About the event
For those of us who are starting our journey as writers later in life, or focusing on writing more as we age, reading & engaging with other writers our age can be an important part of the process. In this generative class, we will read & write about aging & reflect upon the past with humor, authenticity & earned perspective. What have we learned & what do we not yet understand? What poems are we compelled to write at mid-life & beyond, & how can we incorporate various poetic forms & tools in order to strengthen our voice & craft? This class is open to writers of all experience levels & will include poems & prompts that have not been included by the instructor in previous classes at HVWC.
