Renewal and Transformation: The Changing of the Seasons with Brian Turner (Zoom)

In this generative workshop, we’ll consider the shift from one season to another as a study in the act of transformation. What can we learn from the mosquito, the great blue heron, the last full moon of winter as one season gives way to another in the spring of 2026? What do we leave behind? And what do we carry forward as the trees around us leaf out in green? I’ll bring a packet of poems to help us learn from our contemporaries in the field—while doing my best to share approaches I’ve learned from poets and thinkers over the years. As always, it’s my hope that these approaches and insights might offer inroads into your own creative journey.
