About the event
Join the editors of Slapering Hol Press (SHP) and the Hudson Valley Writers Center for a hybrid (both in-person and virtual) reading featuring poets and translators from SHP's Meridian Series of Contemporary Chinese Poets. The reading will feature poets Lan Lan and Quan Zi, and the work of Huang Jiyun and Zhang Shuguang. If you are joining us virtually, please register through this ticket to receive the Zoom link.
Wang Jiaxin, Director of the Meridian Poets Series, will introduce the poets featured in the series. Lan Lan and Quan Zi will perform live readings of their
works.
BIOS
Chinese poet and essayist Lan Lan, born 1967 in Yantai, Shandong province, began publishing at 14.
