Zine Lab: Everyday Stories & Personal Moments
January 22 & 23, 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Grades 6-8
In this two-day Zine Lab, students will make zines inspired by real life. In class, we will turn everyday moments into small, illustrated booklets that they bring to life through writing, drawing, and decorating.
Students will explore how zines can capture routines, observations, memories, and thoughts using both words and images. Through creative prompts and hands-on making, they’ll experiment with different ways to tell a story on the page.
Students will create one or more zines that reflect their own experiences and observations. They’ll write short bits of text, draw and collage, and play with how pages flow and connect.
