Fall Programming Announcement

Dear Hudson Valley Writers Center (HVWC) Community,

As the new Program Director of HVWC I want to personally welcome all of you to our rapidly-approaching fall season! Since my April 1 start date, I have been busy curating a wide range of programming that I hope you will find inspiring and personally rewarding. You will see brand new classes from familiar instructors whom you know and love, as well as a whole roster of new faculty who are offering everything from Ghostwriting 101 to Writing the Play that Only You Can Write. Staple events like Open Mic, Open Write, and Submission Sunday are back in full force for the fall, but so are new community events like the launch of the inaugural issue of Tarry, a brand new literary magazine, which will take place at HVWC on September 17. This year's Annual Benefit, "One Together in One Single Sky," will be held at HVWC on September 25 and honors the courageous work of poet Richard Blanco and ID Studio Theater. Tickets are still available (https://www.writerscenter.org/gala) and I am looking forward to meeting many of you and sharing this one-of-a-kind experience. I hope to see you in a class, at a reading, or at a community event in the near future. If you ever have any questions or suggestions, please know that you can reach me at dominika@writerscenter.org

With gratitude,

Dominika Wrozynski, HVWC Program Director
